Pet-Friendly Corporate Relocation

Rafael, Solange and Lua

Rafael and his wife Solange, from Italy and Brazil respectively, were relocating with their company Ericsson from Hungary to the UK with their dog Lua. 

At the start we were faced with three challenges: (1) relocation with a pet, (2) securing pet friendly serviced accommodation and (3) locating a pet friendly landlord for the long term rental.  However, as Solange was pregnant with their first child, timing was of the essence and the relocation process needed to run smoothly.

Our first contact with Rafael and Solange was in early August and at this point Solange was 30 weeks pregnant and very nervous about the timing for their move and relocation. Understandably so as the deadline of 36 weeks was approaching fast. This also meant that working remotely for Rafael was not really a viable option.

At Premier Corporate Relocation Services we needed to be very focused on the area for serviced accommodation, long term rental search and maternity support.  We ensured detailed information was provided about the NHS and maternity care and pet friendly serviced accommodation was booked in August for arrival early September. 

Following their arrival in the UK, Solange was soon registered with the local GP and fast tracked through the maternity registration process. In the meantime we managed to secure a pet friendly long term rental with tenancy commencement for October!

We were delighted to receive notification from Rafael early October of the safe arrival of their son Matteo, with mother and son both doing well.
