With Easter approaching, what better time to look at the travels of a bunny whose journey was more fraught than the Easter Bunny’s.
Relocating families can present some unique challenges particularly when it comes to beloved pets. One family’s move from Stockholm to London should have been relatively straight-forward until a certain bunny was stopped in his tracks!
It all started on a snowy day in Stockholm when a very cute rabbit turned up at the airport ready to make his long journey to London. The plan was for the bunny to be delivered to its new London home en-route to the father’s business meeting in Paris. One of the new London neighbours (thankfully not Mr McGregor) was then going to hop in and out and look after the bunnies’ needs..
Unfortunately the bunny (travelling with the father) needed its own seat and there wasn’t one available. After an initial panic, and more bunny twitching than normal, one of the check-in attendants saved the day by hosting the bunny at her own house. After an evening munching on Sweden’s finest carrots he was back on track the next day jet setting off to Heathrow.
To us every member of a family is important (parents, children and pets) and we will go that extra mile for all of them. We visited the nearest pet shop and stocked up on supplies to make the bunny feel at home and organised a driver to collect Mr Rabbit from the animal centre at Heathrow and safely deliver him to his new home.
